Advancing Christianity in particular by the establishment and running of Christian Conference Centres and other residential Christian activities and the provision of Christian education.
Find Out MoreThe Object of The Slavanka Trust is to advance Christianity in particular by the establishment and running of Christian Conference Centres and other residential Christian activities and the provision of Christian education.
The Slavanka Trust accepts and proclaims the historic truths of the Christian faith. Our Mission is to support ministry through grants or partnership.
All grant applications do have to contain certain information so that the Trustees are able to assess the application in full. In addition to all of the facts, it is good to be able to see the ‘heart’ of the ministry/work and a glimpse of those who will be most affected. All grant and partnership applicants must state that the Registered Charity or Charitable Trust which they represent agree fully with the Statement of Faith.
The Slavanka Trust was established in 2006 following the closure of the Bournemouth Conference Centre. For the full history do have a look at ABOUT US. When the Conference Centre closed, the Trustees planned to apply the proceeds either to form a grant making trust or to partner with others in Christian residential ministry. The Trustees give thanks to God that with the provision He made, they were able to accept both alternatives.
Slavanka aims to give financial and professional support to those who are involved in Christian ministry. The areas of ministry are the establishment and running of Christian Conference Centres and other residential Christian activities and the provision of Christian education. In addition, grant applicants should note that grants can be made only to registered charities or charitable trusts where the Objects meet all or a significant part of those of The Slavanka Trust. The same applies to partnership projects.

After much prayer and thought, the Trustees agreed to support ministry both in the UK and around the world. They are thankful that so many have been and still are being affected positively and eternally by the provision that God has entrusted to them.
